Artemide celebrated NYCxDesign with the grand opening of our new Lighting Consultancy & Training Center, adjacent to the flagship store in Soho at 46 Greene Street.  The event welcomed guests to the center for the first time, where they could see products including A24, Vector, Silent Field, Nur Acoustic and more. An illuminated “NYC,” written using Alphabet of Light by Bjarke Ingels Group, greets visitors at the entrance.

Ernesto Gismondi, President and Founder of Artemide, and Carlotta de Bevilacqua, Vice President of Artemide, were in New York for the celebration.

The showroom also hosted Artemide Through the Lens of Pierpaolo Ferrari, an installation of the new photo campaign by Italian photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari.  Guests could take a souvenir photo with the interactive #PierpaoloFerrarixArtemide photo booth by Fox Tales.  Yanzi, designed by Neri & Hu, served as the perfect backdrop for photos.

Other new products on display include Ameluna, by Mercedes-Benz Style and Orsa, by Foster + Partners.

 Guests enjoyed our signature cocktail, a Basil Berry Smash, along with deserts by Lady M Confections and music by DJ Keiichiro.
The event was part of the Soho Design District’s annual neighborhood-wide #NYCxDesign celebration.
